Choosing a box mod for sour
Sour in Cyprus reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Sour box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour box mod really costs in Cyprus
Sour in Cyprus reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sour in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Cyprus, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Cyprus, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Cyprus stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Cyprus applies EU TPD plus a consumption tax on e-liquid volume.

Frequently asked questions

Start at whatever Cyprus allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
