The short version: pear in Cyprus works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear squonk mod really costs in Cyprus
If you are looking at pear in Cyprus, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested pear in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Cyprus, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Cyprus, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–8 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where pear goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Cyprus accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Cyprus applies EU TPD plus a consumption tax on e-liquid volume. Shipping of nicotine to Cyprus runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever Cyprus allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within €2.0 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
