The short version: honey in Cyprus works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a honey starter kit really costs in Cyprus
A honey starter kit from the reviewed options in Cyprus costs about €3.08 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested honey in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Cyprus, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–8 business days.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Cyprus, not a suggestion.
Where honey goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised €56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run €3.08 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Cyprus applies EU TPD plus a consumption tax on e-liquid volume.
Packaging for honey in Cyprus must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does honey in a starter kit last?
In Cyprus we measured 6 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On honey the budget price and the premium price can sit within €3.08 per 10 ml once 4–8 business days is counted.
Why does honey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the honey blend itself harsh.
